Welcome back!
What's new in this week's release
- Last year, in release 3.11.25, we made an improvement to the default value of the manual field in a page, when using the 'Show Page' campaign object. The same improvement has now been made for the 'Send email' campaign object. This means that, when selecting an email in the Send Email object, the default value of the manual field is no longer prefilled and saved in the object, but is now shown as a placeholder value (grey letters). More explanation about this can be found in these release notes.
- In the new theme, the Visual Clicks tab of Reports now also includes a button to open the visual clicks map for the selected email.

In the spotlight
A good contact flow is essential for maintaining active and engaged email recipients. Our colleagues from Campaign Services have developed the 'Heartbeat' strategy specifically for this purpose. Here are some key points about the importance of a good contact flow:
Active Addresses: Regular contact with your recipients helps keep your addresses active. This leads to higher engagement and reduces the risk of bounces.
Improved Deliverability: By maintaining a consistent contact flow, you improve the deliverability of your emails. Email providers monitor your sending behavior and the engagement of your recipients.
Increasing Engagement: A well-thought-out strategy like the 'Heartbeat Strategy' ensures that your recipients regularly receive valuable content, helping to maintain their interest and engagement.
Risk of Inactive Addresses: Failing to communicate regularly can lead to a higher chance of unsubscribes and inactive addresses, which can harm your marketing efforts and email deliverability.

We wish you a great week!
