Of course, you don’t want your e-mail to be regarded as spam. We have already seen a number of elements for preventing this in the settings. Another important element is the text version. By default, every e-mail that is sent using Deployteq is sent as a Multipart e-mail. This means that the e-mail consists of several parts: an HTML version (nicely formatted) and a text version (plain text). Some e-mail clients do not receive HTML versions by default. The recipient can also choose to receive text versions only.

You can adjust the text version of your e-mail in the ‘Text version’ tab. Make sure that there is always a link to the online version available so that the recipient can also view the entire e-mail in HTML. In addition, you could insert your preheader and customer name into this version for additional recognition and to ensure that your e-mail is displayed correctly in the inbox to increase the number of opens.

In terms of deliverability, it is very important to create a text version and to ensure that the text from your HTML version corresponds to this text version as much as possible.

To make it easier to generate the text version, the fixed elements from the template are included in the text version.

Below is an example of a text version. The content or a summary of the HTML e-mail must be added to each layout:

[Preheader]

[Customer name]

Online version:
{{viewurl}}
