Deployteq offers various methods to test and send an email.

Preview

Within the "Preview" tab of the email designer, you can test how the email will appear in a potential sendout. You can observe personalization and dynamic content by entering text in the search bar or clicking the magnifying glass. Additionally, you can filter by Campaign, Profile, or Group.

The email will then be personalized based on the selected customer record.


Note

If there is an error in the email, a syntax error will also be displayed in the "preview" mode. This indicates a mistake in the email's code, often the Smarty code.


Quicktest

The Quicktest functionality is designed for a very quick check of the content.


Note

Personalized links and dynamic content (object variations) do not function when using the Quicktest functionality because in this mode, the email will be sent without customer data.


Send Content

Within the CRM module, you can send an email to a specific customer record via 'Send Content.' Personalized links and dynamic content (object variations) work here since customer data is utilized.

Quickmail

In a Quickmail, you can select 'Test Email' as the Email Target. This sends the email to an email address but is rendered for one or more customer records. Personalized links and dynamic content (object variations) work here as well since customer data is used.
