As mentioned earlier, objects are the building blocks of your e-mail. When building the template, these objects have been placed so that they are completely tailored to your corporate style and so that you do not have to see any HTML code in order to use them. On the right-hand side you will see the library containing various objects. Drag and drop them into your e-mail. Some objects cannot be dragged to every zone. This is to protect your corporate style and to make sure that a footer does not suddenly appear in the middle of the e-mail, for instance.

We explain several of the most commonly-used objects and their properties in Chapter 3.

In the library, you may see various icons next to the name of the objects. These icons indicate whether objects have been saved locally or globally.

‘Local objects’ are objects that can only be used within this template. This means that they are not available in other templates in your brand. You can recognize them from the following icon: 

‘Global objects’ are objects that can be used in all templates, as long as they have been linked to the zones within the template and are therefore allowed to be placed in a zone. You can recognize them from the following icon:
