⚡️AMP Emails

Deployteq has made it possible to support AMP e-mails.

AMP for Email allows senders to include AMP components inside rich, engaging e-mails, making modern app functionality available within e-mail. This dynamic e-mail format provides a subset of AMPHTML components for use in e-mail messages that allows recipients of AMP e-mails to interact dynamically with content directly in the message.

An e-mail consists of multiple parts. You’re probably already familiar with the text version (text/plain) and HTML version (text/html), as these are most commonly used in e-mail messages. Nowadays, you can also create a third version – AMP e-mails – in which you use special HTML and JavaScript to create fantastic dynamic e-mails. When AMP is enabled on your portal, an extra tab will be displayed in Deployteq’s template and e-mail editors.

When you fill this tab with specific AMP HTML, it will be sent by Deployteq as a separate, third version of your e-mail. Providers such as Gmail that support this version will display the dynamic e-mail to your recipients. Providers that do not yet support AMP will revert to the standard HTML or text version of the e-mail so existing e-mails will not be affected by this at all.

AMP HTML is fairly specific, and it allows you to use some really great features that hardly need any code. Go to the Google developers environment at https://developers.google.com/gmail/ampemail/ for more information and possibilities. You will need to register your e-mail address as an AMP sender. Before you do so, you will also have to prepare an attractive AMP e-mail for Google. So spend some time playing around with the HTML in their environment.
