Through the API, you can add, update, or retrieve (near) real-time data in the data model. This section of the manual briefly explains how to set this up for your system. For adding and updating data model information, you can also use the webhook receiver. The advantage of this is that customer data can be updated in the same call, which is much more efficient than using this API in combination with our SOAP API for updating customers.
